Lithaksha’s Cochlear Implant Success Story

Hi, my name is Narender Reddy, and I want to share the emotional journey of my daughter, Lithaksha. She was a normal, happy child, going to school and enjoying life—until one day, everything changed. Doctors diagnosed her with hearing loss due to meningitis, a severe brain infection. The infection affected the cerebrospinal fluid, which leaked into her inner ear, causing ossification. This condition can quickly make hearing loss permanent if not treated in time. We consulted multiple hospitals, but when we met Dr. Shree Rao at Dr. Rao’s Hospital, we found hope. Dr. Shree Rao is an exceptional ear surgeon, and thanks to her expertise, Lithaksha underwent bilateral cochlear implant surgery last month. She is now on the road to recovery! This journey has been challenging, but seeing the joy on parents’ faces when their children hear again is priceless. Hats off to all parents who go through this struggle with strength and determination. Thank you, Dr. Shree Rao, and the entire medical team, for giving my daughter a second chance at hearing.
